Originally from Morocco, his painting portrays five Moroccan women in the desert. In the backdrop are the Atlas Mountains. A small painting of Tzfat, the artist’s current hometown, can be seen in the left hand corner.
Since his childhood he was drawn to the arts and to painting in particular. The atmosphere Tsfat, rich in Kabala and mysticism, profoundly influenced his artistic development. Most of his paintings are in water colors. The themes of his paintings are of Israeli culture, philosophy, Bible and Judaica, and his family’s Moroccan history and culture.
